Rob Cave – The Sun Tape

Aiight so boom.

Short story long.

“Back in May I got the idea in my head to do a mixtape to support my upcoming album with @thxk_u, Knowledge of the Sun and I would call it The Sun Tape. I was so excited about the idea that I hit up everyone in my phone asking for drops before I even started.

I spent a good week picking which songs I would rock over while the drops came in. When about half of them were in I sat at my desk, took a fist full of mushrooms and rapped about the sun for 12 hours straight.

I recorded it line for line as it is on the tape so I’m getting higher and higher as it goes on. I think you can tell. It was my first time recording on mushrooms  and I’m not here to promote drug use but for me it was 10/10 will do again.

So yeah, The Sun Tape is out right now. It’s one one long wav file cuz that’s how I recorded it. I was recording so feverishly I didn’t want to waste time saving a file and creating another so I didn’t.

I hope I don’t offend anyone who’s music I used. If I did just let me know I’ll take it off.

I hope y’all enjoy The Sun Tape as much as I enjoyed making it. Big love to all my people who took time out their days to record and send me drops.”
